The Chino Latino Jazz Project (CLJP) is dedicated to presenting latin jazz in the dance styles of salsa, cha-cha-cha, merengue, cumbia, bolero, and rumba/bembe. Following in the traditions of Poncho Sanchez and Tito Puente in a small combo setting, Chino Latino specializes in both sophisticated and danceable arrangements. CLJP is proud to be featured with salsa and latin dance studios such as the Arthur Murray School, and the Dancer's Studio. CLJP personnel includes an international cast of virtuosos from three continents.
